Your brain is approximately 75% water, which is why even mild dehydration causes headaches.

Use the formula below to work out how much water you should be drinking each day:

Your daily intake of water (litres) = Body weight (kg) × 0.03

This is your minimum daily water intake. You should increase the amount you drink on hot days or if you are exercising.
