About Us

Health Jigsaw, based in Kettering, is a mobile personal training business that operates in Southern Tasmania (The Channel and Kingston). We started in 2004 in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, quickly expanded to include the Eastern Suburbs and had 3 personal trainers in our team. In 2016, the business was moved to Southern Tasmania for a tree-change and a more tranquil lifestyle.

Whether your goal is to improve your lifestyle, lose weight, reduce your stress levels, have more energy to play with your kids, improve your golf, or get back in shape, we can tailor the most efficient and effective workouts to help you achieve the results you want.

We provide training sessions that are not only tailored to match your goals, but at a place that suits you best – whether it be at your work, home or a nearby park.

Be sure you check out our Facebook page for details of our events, to see photos of our clients and their friends (including four-legged ones) having a great time being active in the great outdoors, as well as keeping up to date with the latest health and fitness tips.

Who Is Behind Health Jigsaw

My name is Andrew, the owner and principal trainer of Health Jigsaw.

As a fitness coach/personal trainer, I am passionate about helping people become more active and healthier through making lifestyle changes, not just a quick fix. It’s very rewarding to know I can help people make positive changes to their health, lifestyle, self-confidence and general outlook in life.

Having always been involved in sports (touch football, netball, Oztag, cricket, tennis, squash, volleyball), exercise and training, I learned from an early age that being active and exercising can be enjoyable and lots of fun.

During a routine health assessment at work in 1995, I found out that I had high cholesterol (inherited from my parents). I was told by the doctor to modify my diet and exercise more. By changing my lifestyle and without the aid of medication, I got my cholesterol down from 7.4 (high) to 4.0 (normal). This was when I really became interested in health and fitness and where my journey as a personal trainer began.

I have been a personal trainer since 1997 and have trained thousands of clients of all ages with varying levels of fitness – from a lady in her late 60s who had never done any formal fitness training before to professional athletes and performers. My professional experience includes working in a five star resort (Hayman Island Resort, Queensland), large fitness centres and an exclusive personal training studio.

I’m not the kind of trainer who yells or screams like an army sergeant. I take a down to earth approach with my clients – I care about them, their goals, their level of fitness and what they are capable of.
