What is mobile personal training?
Mobile personal training allows you to train in the comfort and privacy of your own home or office, or we can meet you at a nearby park. We provide the equipment for your workout or can use any fitness equipment that you already have. No matter how small your space is there is always a way to create an effective and challenging workout. If you’re training inside, a 3m x 3m area free of furniture and other obstacles is all that is needed.
We service the Channel & Kingston areas – the suburbs and towns along Channel Highway between Gordon and Taroona.
Why do I need a personal trainer?
According to a study by the Journal of Sports Science & Medicine, working out with a personal trainer can increase the success rate of achieving your health and fitness goals by more than 30%.
Essentially, you’re hiring a health professional to create exercise plans based on your needs and wants. You no longer need to Google what might work for your body.
Whether you require a personal trainer for weight loss, injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sports specific training or general fitness. the workouts are tailored specifically for you and your goals.
What is a typical personal training session like?
Personal training is different for everyone. Nobody will have the same session as you because every client is an individual with individual needs.
Depending on your goals, training history, sports that you play, injuries and health issues, your training sessions are individualised. Unless there’s an injury, you’ll rarely repeat the same training session. You can expect an appropriately challenging and varied workout that will increase in intensity as you improve. You’ll also use a variety of equipment and body movements to achieve your goals.
How long will it take before I see results?
Generally, it takes 8 to 12 weeks before you start to “see” results. What type of results you “see” is very individual and depends on your starting level of fitness, how hard you train, how active you are in addition to your workouts and what (and how much) you eat or drink. However, you will “feel” the results of exercise almost immediately. Instead of focussing on the visual results, we put more emphasis on all of the things happening inside your body, like having more energy, feeling less stressed, sleeping better and keeping up with the kids or grandkids.
Am I locked into a contract and what happens if I need to cancel a training session?
Unlike a gym, you will not be locked into any contracts (or have to deal with body odour). And we have no hidden fees, joining fees or membership fees.
All cancellations must be received within 12 hours either via text message or phone call. Failing to do so may result in being charged for the full session.
How many times per week should I meet with a personal trainer?
This depends on a number of factors, including your budget, availability and the need for accountability. Generally, most clients meet with a personal trainer one to three sessions per week (our average is twice).
