Come on&#8230;when was the last time you threw a frisbee?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Neon Run<\/strong>\u00a0(10 October): A 5 km night-time run (around the\u00a0Domain and Royal Botanic Garden) with four unique neon zones of rock, disco, pop and house featuring lasers, black lights, strobes, dancers, and DJ contests.\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neonrun.com.au\/sydney.html\" target=\"_blank\">neonrun.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Spartan Race<\/strong>\u00a0(11 October): If you\u2019re after something a bit more hardcore, this is it. Race against the clock, scaling walls, running through mud, swimming dams, jumping fires and climbing ropes. Kids from 3-14 years can do a modified version of the course.\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/spartanrace.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">spartanrace.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ride2Work Day<\/strong>\u00a0(15 October):\u00a0Ditch the car or public transport and commute to work by bike. As an added incentive, free community breakfasts are held across the country to celebrate the morning commute on two wheels.\u00a0[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bicyclenetwork.com.au\/general\/programs\/996\/\" target=\"_blank\">bicyclenetwork.com.au\/general\/programs\/996\/<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Bloody Long Walk<\/strong>\u00a0(19 October): 35 km walk along the coastline from Palm Beach to North Head.\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodylongwalk.com.au\/sydney\/\" target=\"_blank\">bloodylongwalk.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Spring Cycle<\/strong>\u00a0(19 October): You cycle from North Sydney to either Pyrmont (15 km) or Olympic Park (55 or 100 km). [<a href=\"http:\/\/springcycle.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">springcycle.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sculpture by the Sea<\/strong>\u00a0(23 October to 9 November): A 2 km long temporary sculpture park along\u00a0the Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach coastal walk.\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sculpturebythesea.com\/exhibitions\/bondi.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">sculpturebythesea.com<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>7 Bridges Walk<\/strong>\u00a0(26 October): A 27 km closed loop circuit walk that travels clockwise around Sydney Harbour.\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.7bridgeswalk.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">7bridgeswalk.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gong Ride<\/strong>\u00a0(2 November): You can choose either the 90 km long course (from St Peters) or the 58 km short course (from Engadine).\u00a0[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.msgongride.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">msgongride.org.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Run Sydney<\/strong>\u00a0(2 November):\u00a0Half Marathon, 10 km and 3 km courses\u00a0running past all the iconic venues from the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.runsydney.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">runsydney.com<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tough Mudder<\/strong>\u00a0(15 &amp; 16 November): A\u00a020 km obstacle course in the Southern Highlands\u00a0designed to test all-around strength, stamina, teamwork and mental grit.\u00a0[<a href=\"https:\/\/toughmudder.com.au\/events\/2014-sydney-southern-highlands\" target=\"_blank\">toughmudder.com.au<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim<\/strong>\u00a0(7 December): Approximately 2.4 km swim from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach.
