You might write a list and stick it on your fridge &#8211; to get fit, lose weight, stop smoking or get the work\/life balance right. But how do you actually achieve these resolutions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Know the difference between wishful thinking and unrealistic expectations.\u00a0Set yourself realistic goal(s) and making a detailed plan full of all the little steps you need to take.<\/li>\n<li>If one of your goals is to lose weight, then you need to de-junk your pantry and fridge first.\u00a0Bring your wheelie bin into the kitchen, open the pantry, fridge and freezer and throw out every bit of crap food in your house.<\/li>\n<li>Think \u201cWhole Year&#8221; &#8211; nothing big gets accomplished in one day. Resolutions are set in one day, but accomplished with a hundred tiny steps that happen throughout the year. New Year\u2019s resolutions should be nothing more than a starting point.
