Who Is Behind Health Jigsaw
I am Andrew, the owner and main trainer at Health Jigsaw.
As a fitness coach/personal trainer, I am passionate about helping people become more active and healthier through making lifestyle changes, not just a quick fix. It’s super rewarding to know I can help people make positive changes to their health, lifestyle, self-confidence and general outlook on life.
I’ve always been into sports, from touch football and netball to Oztag, cricket, tennis, squash, and volleyball. I’ve learned that being active and exercising can be a blast!
In 1995, I went to a routine health check at work and discovered I had high cholesterol (thanks to my parents). The doctor advised me to make dietary and exercise changes. So, I made some lifestyle adjustments and, without taking any medication, I managed to lower my cholesterol from 7.4 (high) to 4.0 (normal). That’s when I really got into health and fitness, and that’s when my journey as a personal trainer began.
I have been a personal trainer since 1997 and have trained thousands of clients of all ages with varying levels of fitness. From a lady in her late 60s who had never done any formal fitness training before to professional athletes and performers, I’ve trained with them all. I have even trained remotely with someone living in Antarctica. My professional experience includes working in a five star resort (Hayman Island Resort, Queensland), large fitness centres and an exclusive personal training studio.
I’m not your typical trainer who shouts or screams like a drill sergeant. I take a more relaxed and caring approach with my clients. I genuinely care about them, their goals, their fitness level, and what they can achieve.
